The student is 15 years old, but extremely weak in Maths, a low Grade 6 would be a reasonable estimate. The Unity of Filipino Migrant Workers in Korea or KASAMMAKO denounces the
criminalization, intensified crackdown and repression of migrant workers
in South Korea. The Korean government has used the visa status of migrant
workers especially the undocumented migrant workers as a scapegoat in
launching the anti-terrorism campaign in view of the governmentâ€s
hosting of the G-20 Summit in November this year. There had been a
mapping of areas where migrant workers live and work and the immigration
police have raided many factories, carrying with them search warrants for
identified factories.

As of May 16, there were already thirty two (32) Filipino migrant workers

E2 Visa outside the UK and KJC School

Hi all

Me and my girlfriend are currently traveling in south east asia with the plan to get a TEFL position in Korea.

We have hit a snag in that our UK documents are not appostilled. We do have all required docs just not appostilled.

One company KJC Schools says that if we send our docs to them they can sort it all in Korea with us arriving on a tourist visa then doing a visa run to japan to get our E2 visa.

Criminal Record Check - been in Korea for 3 years

Hi,

I am looking to move out of the public school system and back to the hagwon system after working in the public school system for two years. I have only had to do a criminal record check once and was wondering if I would have to get one again from home, or should I do one from here?

The immigration websites have no information on foreigners who have lived here for a while so any information you may have would be good.

I heard that you can legally work as a translator in korea if you have the level 3 proficiency test certificate. I'm just wondering if its true and if you can be visa-sponsored to do this type of job. Thanks in advance.
