visa extention

Hello all,

my work visa expires soon and i have received my end of contract release.

I have a few loose ends to take care of before i leave and need to stay 3 weeks longer. Is it possible to obtain an extension of stay without leaving the country? Has anyone done this or know of anyone who did. Seems like this must be a common issue as it's pretty hard to leave the exact same day your visa is up in all cases.

any info would be helpful, i will visit immigration soon

thanks

Need advice on this contract

So I am in Busan now and I got an offer earlier this week.  After getting the contract I looked up some checklists on job forums and made sure the school was not on any blacklist.

Everything seems in order except the details about the accommodations are scarce.

Bed, dresser, air con, TV and gas stove.

All I know about the location is that it is 10 minutes from the school.

I've already tried asking for the address, and no response yet.

Obviously I want to avoid being rude as the job market is pretty dry right now and I don't want to blow this.

Namcheon Tax Office

Hi.  I am going to be leaving Korea soon, so I want to try and get a tax refund.  I want to pay a visit to the local tax office to file paperwork/get more info.  I hear it is in Namcheon-Dong.  I live right near there, but can somebody give me a specific location so I can find it?  I appreciate it.

paperwork for getting a new teaching job on old visa

I am recently coming to the end of my contract with my teaching job in korea but I decided to continue teaching for another year but with a different school. However i am not sure how to do that. I dont mean finding a job but more specifically about the paperwork. Do I have to apply for a new visa or continue on the visa I have now? And do I need to get a new criminal background check or transcripts?

Advice on how to get a job in Busan

So I arrived in Busan about a week ago.  I just graduated and I decided to look
for a job out here and I did some research before coming.  Most posts I looked at
advised not to accept a job before you arrive.

I have been here a week, I've posted my resume on eslcafe,
koreabridge and other places and I still haven't had an in person interview.
Am I doing something wrong?  Is there a place in the city with job postings
for foreigners?  Is there another site/recruiter I should be trying?

Do F-2 visas need a criminal background check for new uni job?

I have an F-2 Visa. I will try to get a Uni job next spring. Does an F-2 Visa holder need to obtain the criminal background check, diploma, and transcripts when applying to a new job?

I expect that (like every single ESL forum regarding this topic) there will be more than one contradictory answer so it would be great to know a number or website where I can confirm the answers

Thanks
