Visa Run - Where and What do I do?

Ok, so I'm in Korea already and I just got all of my paperwork together. After my prospective employer takes it what do I need to do? I know I need to leave the country so, if I go to Japan can I go anywhere? Do I just need to leave to re-enter Korea and get my passport stamped or do I need to go to the Korean consulate in Japan?  Thanks for any information on this process.

teaching without work visa

I think the new teacher at my hagwon must have the record for teaching on a passport without a work visa.

He said he taught full time at a hagwon for two years before going legit and getting an E-2 visa with my institute. I thought it was risky, but he made it sound so routine. He even used a local bank account for monthly deposits.

Job Ads- comment section

Can we have a fair "comments section" on JOBs please? It's long overdue in my opinion. All you have to do is moderate it.Why not have a "worked there" box? Then the person can contact persons who have been previously employed there.(the choice being optional)

Can we balance the scales? After all, our references are required and decided by the people who earn indirectly, or directly from our skills. Let's upgrade this expat welfare system and update this service you provide for us as the bottom-line client.

CDI Busanjin

Anyone have experience with this school?  I currently work for a CDI in Busan but may need to transfer branches in the future and want to know if this is a good one.  Thanks much.

Finding non-teaching job in Korea as a multilingual

Hi, I would like to ask about finding non-teaching work in South Korea. I intend to go to live in Korea in Summer 2012 and I wish to find non-teaching work out there to make the most of my languages and experience. I speak fluently in French and Japanese (Level 1 Proficiency held) and have native English and upper intermediate korean. I intend to spend about a year or so studying Korean in Korea to become fluent in Korean also, and this will also allow me to get my feet on the ground looking for jobs in the meantime.
