Is tutoring possible legally

I keep finding information saying that tutoring is illegal in South Korea but this is usually referenced with teaching at a school there. I have a connection to a Korean that already tutors there, and I would be able to get jobs tutoring without needing to be teaching in a school. Is it possible to get a visa to just tutor and not be attached through a school? Or is it always illegal for foreigners to tutor privately or in small groups?

Complicated issue regarding D2 visa

HELLO every one !!!

I need some information regrading my visa. I am a graduate student, I enroled in combined course (Master +PhD), officially it take 4 years to complete, so the dureation in my ARC is 4 years. But in the meanwhile after 2 years I complete Master and change my degree from combined course to Master coures only. and will graduate this Feb. But still in my ARC there are 2 years to expire. So, I want to ask that with my graduation my visa will expire or I can stay 2 years on this visa (student visa).

Halloween Party Planner wanted

Hello! I just wanted to ask about the rate for teaching kids under 10 years old on a one-on-one English study session? Someone asked me if I could teach English to her 10-year-old son. She offers to pay me 20,000won per hour. Is that reasonable enough? I need your advice. Thank you!

Hi everyone!

I currently work as an executive recruiter for a small search firm in Greenville, SC. I also lived in Seoul for about 3 and a half years (2010-2013). My company is pursuing a new client in Germany with needs for Korean candidates for a Sales Manager/Account Manager type position.

Mainly, I need help finding the best places to post this job opportunity to native Koreans. I can speak Korean a bit and I can read it (although that doesn't mean I understand everything), so I need something that has at least some options for English use as well.

How can I find work in Gwangju?

When I lived in Busan, websites like this one were a great resource for finding English teaching work. However, after moving to Gwangju, the natives don't seem to use any that I could find. The only job offers I find for Gwangju on this or similar websites are vague messages from recruiters with every city in the country listed.

How do Korean managers of English schools find foreign teachers if not using websites like Koreabridge or ESLdave? Do they find western people exclusively through recruiters?
