CRC

Hi i would dearly love to work in Korea but have hit what seems a major snag through lack of awareness.

Everytime i apply for teaching jobs the CRC issue arises, I have no CRC as i left my home country several years ago unware that it was a requirement in teaching.

Does any one have any advice or faced a simialar issue?

Let me state i have a clean record wherever i go but this is just my word.Even if i return to my home country there is this gap in years so i don't know what to do.

English tutoring online legal?

What's the legal situation regarding online English tutoring? I know one on one tutoring without a permit is illegal, and that those permits are not granted to many visa types but how would those laws translate to an online business?
For example, if I, a British citizen, used one of the many online tutoring platforms to tutor a Spanish student over Skype while living in the UK, it would be legal provided I declared my income and paid tax.

Leaving Korea for China?

Hi everyone, I've recently moved to Shenzhen, China after living in Korea for 6 years and I wanted to start this forum to offer advice to anyone who is thinking about making that move themselves. It is getting to be that time of year again, and I've seen some people talk about their schools cutting back, so I though now would be as good a time as any to start giving advice, and I don't have any classes for the rest of the term, so I have the time.

Jobs available in South Korea?

Hello,

Actually, I posses a diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and also a CCNA qualified. I'm planning on enrolling on a Korean Language Institute next year. But, I would also wish to have a stable job. I'm thinking of getting CELTA if I wouldn't be able to have a job in the networking side. That's why, I was posting here to know if it's better to get CELTA to increase my chances of getting a job or would I be okay with my current qualifications.

Thank you.
