I wanted to make a summarized video about the ~데 form, because the ~데 form is the most misused sentence connector that I see learners using. I also misused this a ton when I was a beginner because I didn't understand when it was used. It's only after years of studying and practice that I realized how the ~데 form is used to make comparisons, and how it has a different nuance than saying just "and" or "but."

~던지 is an advanced level grammar form that means "so," and is used for emphasizing the verb it's used with. This form is different than ~든지 (which I also compare it with in the lesson).
Although it's an advanced topic because it requires a large amount of advanced grammar forms and a high level of Korean in order to use it fully - it's often used in longer sentences - the form itself is actually quite simple and straightforward. It's a simpler version of the ~서 form ("because") and means "because (verb) so...."

Sunday during my recent live stream I talked about the word 모습. This word means "appearance," "figure," "form," or "image." It's used as a noun (since it is a noun), but it's also used together with verbs (such as action verbs). The full live stream was over two hours, but you can learn about it in just six minutes.
Did you know that Koreans speak differently when talking to themselves than when talking to others? This requires not only using Casual Speech, but a few other tips as well. This sort of speech is known as 혼잣말 ("talking to oneself") and has slightly different rules than other spoken Korean.
무조건 means "unconditionally," but can be used in several different situations and translates in a variety of ways. In this video (which was suggested by one of my supporters) I cover all of the most essential uses of the word 무조건.
