I have a simple question concerning labor laws in Korea. If you work over 40 hours a week or if you work during the weekend when you normally would not, are you entitled to receive time and a half? If yes, could you please point out to me which article of the labor code has such a stipulation?
I also have another question concerning Canadians. If you work in Korea, can you declare your income to only Korea and not to Canada? Or do you have to eventually pay income tax to Canada?
Well this might seem to a rather broad or odd question but I am on the mailing list for ROK Drop and tried to post there but it did not work, so could someone suggest another?
Hello, hoping for anyone to have some advice for me. I will have an interview this weekend for a position with ECC in Southern South Korea. I was told it was about 30 minutes from Busan. Any idea where this would be? I'm currently going through a recruiter who is from worknplay. I didn't plan on it that way, but it just kind of worked out. The guy seems to be geniunely nice. I got into this fairly late. I submitted my FBI background check about mid july. The recruiter said there was job openings all year. However, I am wondering if this is really true.
I'm interested in teaching English over Skype to Koreans. Can anyone give me any advice about where I can find students and how much to charge? And if there's anything else I should know about teaching Koreans over type, I would greatly appreciate it.
"A few minutes a day can really make a difference. Do something today for a few minutes to change your life!"
Whatever you water will grow stronger. If for example, you water the seeds of learning and improving your English every day, it will grow stronger.
My idea in my classes is, to get inspired and to learn. I think when you enjoy doing something, when you have fun, it is much easier to remember the things and if we add to that a little bit of inspiration, I believe the results will be great.
