I'm now doing my shopping for a certificate which can help me maintain a position in Korea. I plan on moving to Seoul next year, however, I don't think my BA and 2 years of teaching experience is enough to land a decent job within city limits. So I'd like to do what I can, since I have the time and some extra cash, to get a certificate to better my chances.

I just spoke with Eunice @ BMOE about the change to FBI check instead of Statewide check.  If you are currently working with EPIK (been with a specific POE for a year or two and your contract is about to be up in Feb.) don't worry about the FBI check.  She informed me that they will be sending out the renewals by the end of this month.  If we wish to renew, there will be an attached letter from the Ministry of Justice that we have to sign stating that we are exempt this time but are aware that NEXT year we will need the FBI check.  That means that we do not need the FBI check for Febr
