Do Something!

Do something!
Whether it’s reading a book, cleaning your apartment,
Going for a walk in the rain, studying Korean,
doing pushups,
Cooking rice, listening to music, listening to the fan,
listening to your heartbeat.
DO something.
Even doing nothing is doing something if you set out to do it.
But doing nothing without wanting to do nothing
is worse than death.
It’s wishing for more without reward, forever,
because nothing always comes from nothing.
Doing something is its own reward,
so the need for something from nothing disappears.
It takes effort to retrain the brain to understand this,
but it’s worth it.
Even writing this three-minute poem was doing something.
So, you know it’s far from impossible.
You’re doing it already.
