okay everybody, listen up, this'll only take a second...

the speed dating is on! we've got a venue, a time, and the details locked in.

details are as follows:

we've booked the entire third floor of Cheers bar at Gwangalli. this starts at 5 pm on Saturday, Sept. 4th.

the entrance fee is 10,000 won. this will entitle you to one free beer. each 'speed date' will meet for five minutes, to be timed by our ineffable and hugely helpful host tara. then we get up and switch partners.

the money you pay for entrance goes toward your free drink and gifts and supplies for an orphanage here in busan. soon tara will be posting information on the upcoming orphanage visiting meetup she's planning right now.

we're looking for forty people - twenty guys, twenty girls - and a bunch of good times. so dress to impress, come on out to meet some great people and possibly that special someone that's been so evading your attention and/or clutches for the last little while.

this will be a mixture of koreans and foreigners so it's guaranteed to be a multicultural meetup all the way around. anyone and everyone's invited, so tell your friends to come out and flirt to their hearts' content.

payment will be collected at the door. please show up ten to twenty minutes before the start so we can get everyone together and seated properly.

in any speed dating event only one gender switches tables. the gender to switch tables will be decided by a coin toss or gawi-bawi-bo at the beginning of the event.

Cheers is located on the main drag at Gwangalli between Lotteria and Pascuchi coffee shop.

one more thing: at the end of the event there will be a bottle of liquor raffled off. anyone participating in the event will get a ticket and a number will be chosen at random to determine a winner.
