Sequential is back with the partys 2nd time at Genie! Genie has a great sound system, friendly staff and nice warm intimate atmosphere just like that of the old Joker. 

On the decks for the evening will be Andy & Stu, Lewis Anthony, Raico, plus DJ T-maru and Genie's resisdents

There are only a few nights in Seoul that play true, proper house and techno choons, so, we hope to see you all there for a night of the very best in underground house music that Seoul has to offer. 

Entrance is a meagre 10,000 won plus a free drink.

To help you get in the party spirit, the club will be giving out free tequillas at 12, 1 and 2 am!

ANDY & STU

Andy and Stu originally hail from Manchester, UK, a city which exposed them to some of the finest clubs and house music. After moving to Seoul they quickly became regulars on the Seoul DJ circuit

In the early 2000’s their varying blend of funky progressive bass driven house got them noticed and they were soon signed to 02pro, which helped them secure a weekly residency at Seoul's Club MWG. Their finishing sets there soon became legendary and will go down in history within Seoul’s club culture. Their sound has seen them play in most clubs throughout the peninsula, Korea's biggest festivals Jisan and Pentaport and has also been heard further a field with headlining gigs across Asia.

Working with Seoul based production company 02pro, they have played along the side of various international artists including Sasha, John Digweed, Tiesto, Danny Howells, Dave Seaman, Ritchie Hawtin, Parks and Wilson and Steve Lawler to name but a few.

Over the course of the last decade music has changed a great deal, coupled with their background influences, it is difficult to pin point their music genre. These days they play through house to techno. Their sets will take you on a journey, gradually building; these two will definitely get you dancing.


LEWIS ANTHONY 

Lewis Anthony started making waves back in 2004 when the Tunechasers—Lewis’s weekly radio show—aired on Frequency: a popular student radio station based out of the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. The Tunechasers set out to fulfill a simple objective: showcase the best and most forward-thinking productions in the ever-evolving global electronic music scene. Along with this aim came the opportunity to host some of the top local and worldwide talent in the industry. 

After a successful four-year reign, in which the Tunechasers gained popular acclaim, as well as nominations for various local industry and university awards, Lewis decided to call time on the airwaves and pursue production along with a growing talent behind the ones and twos.

Lewis's sound inevitably evolved with the scene itself: portraying early deep house from Chicago, the infant sounds of techno from Detroit, as well as domestically-based production outfits and newly-emerging minimal recordings. This gave way to the contemporary electronic sounds of Lewis Anthony today. 

Initially favoring tradition through supporting the most basic of DJ set ups, he also remained open minded about the technological changes that were occurring in the digital age and gaining ever more popularity on the global DJ circuit. From vinyl turntables and CDJ’s, right through to laptops and digital samplers, the sound and preferences morphed with the scene.

Lewis Anthony aims to take electronic music aficionados on a sense-assaulting journey of long and textbook musical transitions through driving twists and turns—with a few ups and downs along the way. Although the radio days may well be behind him, installments of "The Tunechasers" still retain popularity globally.

Lewis’s passion for music and exploration has taken him all over the world: from Europe, to America, to Asia. Today, he resides in Seoul, Korea and can be found behind the decks in the clubs of Seoul’s underground electronic music scene.


RAICO.

Joe Raicovich has been on the cutting edge of dance music since his teens. His preference for vinyl and the ability to mix fluidly was instilled at an early age. Music has been a symbiotic part of his life whether it be clubbing around the globe or laying down seamless mixes behind the decks.

Initially stimulated by artists such as the Crystal Method, Hybrid and DJ Icey he would later turn his attention towards house music inspired by the likes of Sasha and Digweed.

His music philosophy is sophisticated while remaining simple. He plays the crowd to the style or genre of the night. Whether he is opening, headlining or closing a show- Raicovich considers the night a journey that each DJ needs to build on until the mixer is off.

Raicovich is part of a fraternity of DJs who believe that technology has taken away the art of a proper set and focused the concentration away from the dance floor. His aim through his mixes is to connect with his floor and see them connect with him.

He plays music he does not produce it. He focuses on his crowd not a computer screen. He lays down a set not a play list. He supports the night not himself. He plays the crowd not his ego. In the end, Joe Raicovich is simply a DJ.
