Hey ya'll... Just a quick FYI:

ODE has been invited to headline the main stage of Busan International Film Festival! Sure, there will be music all festival long... but Thursday is going to be the main event (as far as we're concerned!). 

Here is what we envision: Just about sunset on beautiful Haeundae Beach, the One Drop East Army descends upon the unassuming adjossis and adjummas laying claim to their patio chairs in front of the BIFF stage. The old folks sense excitement in the air and their first instinct is to flea... but they are unwilling to give up so easily, that which they prized all day long. After all, chances are the next act to hit the stage will play yet another version of the beloved song, 'Arirang.' 

As if from the angels themselves, the patented One Drop East brass fanfare blasts forth from the far-too-large-for-old-folks sound system! The revelers cheer and charge the woefully empty patch of sand at the foot of the stage. Plastic chairs tumble and collapse as confused bystanders search out an escape. But there is no escaping the groove that only extra-loud reggae music on the beach can provide. Soon, adjummas are stripping off their gloves and letting loose! Children giggle and twirl! A pod of dolphins begins to splash and flip just offshore! Yes, Busan... The One Drop East Beach Party has arrived.

But seriously... It's gonna be a great experience to play this stage, but having our friends and fans there to share it with will make it unforgettable. The organizers have given us an hour (!!!), but if you all come and party with us, perhaps that can be extended. ;)

The stage is located between the Novotel and the Aquarium. Come on down to get your weekend started right! Afterwards, we'll all meet up for drinks at a local bar who's name will be cryptically revealed towards the end of our set.
