Based in Toronto, Canada, Barletta has made a name for himself as a tirelessly hard working producer, re-mixer and performer, consistently headlining sold-out dance parties from coast to coast. A consummate showman, many a promoter has been known to proclaim him “the Canadian king of 4/4” after witnessing him work his magic on the decks. Barletta’s diversely influenced and widely circulating productions and remixes have been blogged about to no end, and have attracted the attention of everyone from Crookers to Diplo (“he’s heavy like a dutch thing - but makes you jump a little higher!”) to Kissy Sellout (known to play several Barletta releases per episode on his prime time BBC Radio 1 slot, Kissy Klub).

In the three years since Barletta first started tearing up the decks and blogosphere, he has promo'ed over 200 tracks, including official remixes for LAZRtag, OHSNAP!!!, Kelevra, and Steed Lord. In October 2008, he released his first official EP "Bass Live", which was packed with remixes by other Toronto natives (TMDP, 84.85, Gingy, and TT); this was quickly followed by "Panther", which included widely regarded DJs Barbi and Cryo (aka Syntonics). His EP, “Whisper”, was released in June 2009 and featured official remixes
by NYC's Tommie Sunshine and DMC scratch champion Klever; the resounding success of the "Whisper" EP took Barletta touring throughout the US and Canada, and hit the charts in the UK.

In addition to remixing international acts like The Beastie Boys and Katy Perry, Barletta stays busy producing original material. "Come Down", his latest EP, was officially released via Burner Records in February 2011 with distribution throughout all major channels and to rave reviews in the blogosphere and beyond.
