DJ@War

Just coming off a 3 week tour in Asia with a project releasing on the mighty
Toolroom Records this summer alongside production partner Jaguar Skills, UK
based, American DJ@War is set to explode in 2011.

Recently accepting a summer residency at Es Paradis, Ibiza to go alongside his
others in Zurich, London, and Belfast, DJ@War can rock any crowd, anywhere.
He has rocked crowds in over 25 countries, from the USA, across Europe and
the Middle East, the Far East, and Africa.

A former US DMC Finalist and multiple DJ competition winner, DJ@War can
easily relate to another turntablist turned dance producer- A-Trak from Duck
Sauce. Born in Pennsylvania, DJ@War tuned into Baltimore radio and was
influenced by a mixture of Bmore and classic house coupled with funk, rock, and
hip hop. He eventually moved to London and was blown away by the house and
electro that were destroying dance floors in Europe, and locked himself away in
his studio for 3 years learning how to make a great record.

His first studio experience was in 2008 with 2 trance producers from Leeds
named Durrant and Riley. Says DJ@War, "I'd won a studio session with them
as a prize for a DJ competition. They asked me what I wanted to do, and I said
I wanted to make a dance record." To his surprise Ministry of Sound's Data
Records liked the track and signed it as a remix to Herve's "Cheap Thrills."

Recently joining production forces with BBC Radio One's masked weirdo Jaguar
Skills, they created "The 9 Levels of Power" and "Potential Superviolence,"
which will be released on Toolroom Records this summer and featuring on famed
producer Jaguar Skill's recently released album.

영국에서 활동하고 있는 미국 출신의 DJ@War는 2011년을 가장 뜨겁게 달군
DJ로 이번 여름 그의 파트너 Jaguar Skills과 함께 Toolroom Records를 통해
앨범을 발표하고 3주간의 아시아 투어 대장정에 나섰다.
최근 Es Paradis, Ibiza에서 레지던트 DJ로 그리고 Zurich, London, Belfast 에서의
공연을 통해 그는 언제 어디서든 관객을 열광시키는 모습을 보여주었으며, 그는
미국, 유럽, 중동, 그리고 아시아, 아프리카에 이르기까지 25개국에서 공연을 갖고
파티 피플을 매료시키고 있다.

턴테이블이스트에서 댄스 프로듀서로 전향한 Duck Sauce의 A-Trak을
연상시키기도 한다. 펜실베니아에서 태어난 그는 볼티모어 라디오, Bmore와
펑크, 락, 힙합을 가미한 클래식 하우스가 믹스된 스타일에 영향을 받았다. 결국
그는 런던으로 날아가 유럽 댄스 플로어를 강타한 하우스, 일렉트로 음악에
매료되어 3년 동안 그의 스투디오에서 앨범을 만들기에 매진했다.
그는 Leeds 출신의 트랜스 프로듀서 Durrant과 Riley와 함께 2008년 첫번째
스투디오 생활을 시작했으며, “저는 그들과 함께 DJ 경연대회에서 스투디오 세션
