Jinju Namgang Yudeung Lantern Festival (진주 남강유등축제)
This festival is held in October 1-12.
There were lanterns everywhere! Lots of vendors and things to see/do. (http://english.visitkorea.or.kr/enu/S...)
My friends and I stayed at a love motel which was extremely cheap and close to the festival. Typically love motels are used by young couples looking for some 'alone time' with their significant others haha. But we stayed there as a group to be close to the festivities and the bus station. : ) We had a wonderful time. I'd recommend everyone check out the festival.
