Line 1: Myeonghak Station/Anyang Walk and Talk #4 [GoPro Korea]

Video Rodeo might be done for the season, but taking its place is another great series - QiRanger's Walk and Talk. Every week, I'll take you with me on an extended journey to an exciting and interesting location and share it with you in real time. This week, as we launch the series in its regular time slot is a walk that's very special to me: the walk from Myeonghak Station to my university. It's a journey I make several time each week. Myeonghak Station (명학역) is located on Line 1 on the south side of Anyang, South Korea. While many of my university students opt to take a local maeul or school shuttle bus from the station to the university, I usually walk. The total distance is a little over a half mile to the entrance gates and another quarter mile to my office area. Probably the reason why I walk so much to the university, as it gives me time to unwind and prepare mentally for the task ahead of me. It also allows me the chance to stop in one of the many convenience stores and get a few snacks if I need to. One of the great things about this walk is Myeonghak Park. I love this little park. The fountain is a source of entertainment for many. The accompanying children's park is also well utilized (although no one was there on this school day). I hope you enjoyed this little view.
