Exploring Chiang Mai Markets - QiRanger's Walk and Talk #15

This week's Walk and Talk takes us to Chiang Mai, Thailand. It's the largest and most well known city in northern Thailand. The city sits along the Ping River and translates to "new city" and the home to many "digital nomads," since it has a substantially lower cost of living than Bangkok. So let's get to the video! Today I satisfy a subscriber request to show some of the traditional markets. Since we were staying near a few of them, I thought it would be fun to take you through the markets. First up is the Wororos Market. It was by far one of my favorite places and I managed to get some great lunch there as well (mataba chicken). I then take you through one of the smaller markets - the Tonamyai Market. If you're looking to do some shopping, this might be one of the better places to do it, as the famed "night market" tends to be a little more expensive. -= WEB SITES =- G+: http://google.com/+SteveMiller_QiRanger Twitter: http://twitter.com/qiranger Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/qiranger Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/qirangeradventures Instagram: http://instagr.am/qiranger Blog: http://qiranger.com The Travel and News Channel: http://youtube.com/qiranger The Vlog Channel: http://youtube.com/theqirangervlog Podcast: http://qiranger.com/tqrap TAGS: Chiang Mai (City/Town/Village),Thailand,Khmer,Walk,talking,Ping River, digital nomads,Wororos Market, mataba chicken,Tonamyai Market, city market, shopping, tourism, travel, shopping, souvenir, souvenirs, travel, ttot, steve miller, qiranger
