Moving back to Korea

I lived in Pusan from 1993-1998, having taught at Pusan National University for the last year I was there. My wife of 16 years is from Haeundae. We are considering moving back to Busan in the future. We have a daughter in 10th grade and a son in 5th grade.

Questions...I have a Master's Degree in Special Education and a certified to teach English and Special Education in Maryland. What would my job options look like (university, private lessons, etc)? How hard would it be for me to get an f6 Visa? What would my kids' visa status be?

Need good high school for American sophomore...prefer NOT Seoul

Hello! I'm looking for a good international school for my son who will be joining me in Korea in June. He will entering the 10th grade and has always been in school in the United States.

It would be great if I could find a teaching job at an international school where he could attend at a reduced rate or no cost.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We would prefer the Busan or southern area of Korea and not Seoul.

Group for Moms (and Dads)

Here is a group I started for Korean moms and foreign moms to connect, get together, share, etc.  My wife and I have a two month old baby girl and have been searching for more people with babies so we can get together and hang out, talk, eat, share, learn, etc (well, mostly for my wife).

Foreigners with children in Busan

I have a 9 year old daughter and I am unsure if I should send her to Korean public school this year. Last year she attended public school in Siheung and the level of English was very poor in the school. I would like to hear from parents in Busan who have young children. I would appreciate their advice about schooling. We live in Seomyeon. Unfortunately the Foreign and International schools are too expensive.
