Juk, that tasty goodness...

... that keeps you healthy in the winter. Truth be told, I love juk (죽). It's a rice porridge (in most cases) that got its roots from Chinese congee. I was first introduced to it back in the US when I was staying with Jo and her parents one day. I was a little sick and they forced it on me.

I was amazed at how quickly I recovered. In Korea Bon Juk (본죽) is a national chain that offers several varieties (this post/video is non sponsored). You can also find several traditional Korean restaurants that serve this delicious dish as well.

In my opinion, it's the best thing to help you get over your cold of flu. What's your remedy?
