If you are a housewife like me, who happens to shop more on grocery than latest designer wear, you will truly appreciate this new application - Home Plus.
This application is easily installed in your mobile device.
Gone are the days when we have to wake up early in the morning to go to market.
Now, everywhere I go, I can easily purchase grocery online via this application.
I can even choose not to go out.
Home Plus is TESCO, which the local pronounce in Konglish as 'home-peul-last-er"
It is just the name is being changed due to "glocalisation" of the brand in Korea.
Few important things that you need to know/do before:
1. Your address in Korean
2. Alien card / foreigner in Korea residential card.
Step-By-Step To Register
After I have download the software (search for Home Plus or 홈플러스) in my mobile device.
1. A menu will come out like this once open or you can choose home.
Choose 'The Home Plus Mall' which have trolley picture.
(Second row first icon on left)

Click the button under green button on the right that spells 회원가입 to register
Skip to step 5 if you don't have I-PIN (for foreigner) to register

A screen like this would appear, chose the right radio button as sample above.
It says 외국인 means alien/foreigner"
Key in your full name as per alien card in the first box.
Then and your alien card number on the second box.
Once done, click the below button in grey 확인 to confirm..
4. If you key-in correct as your alien card ID, this menu will appear for you to fill in your particular in details.
Click all box to agree to term and condition.
Click all box to agree to term and condition.
Click 확인 to proceed..
Skip to no. 6 if you register via I-PIN.
5. For non I-Pin user, a one-time purchase can be made without registering.
You can still key-in your particular on your future visit.

Key in your full name as per alien card in the first box.
Then your alien card number on the second box.
Once done, click the below button in grey 확인 to confirm..
6. For registration via I-PIN, I came to forget to take the screenshot but you can follow below screenshot as a guide.
Then, the final step, key in your details in particular.
On the top, name will generate according to your alien card number.
First box : is for your email.
Second box is for your mobile phone number.
Third Box will be House number.
Fourth box will be your address in Korean.
Note for address box, once clicked, a pop up button will appear.
Key in your '-dong' in Hanggeul.
A list of postcode will appear for you to choose, and key in the remaining of your address.
Tips : Ask your neighbour/security guard in your building to write your home address in Hanggeul)
and 암호 means password
7. Once you have register, voila.. let's shop via mobile device!
There is no need to 'ON' pc or wait.
Scan the bar codes to compare price and details, key in your search and
You can even check for sale and get free coupons to use.
Just play around and have fun.

To add to cart : 장바구니 in orange
To purchase immediately : 바로구매
8. Last but not least, if you love to collect points like me, you can register your existing Home Plus card.
Remember this main menu?
Click first top left icon that states Family Card.
Click the plus button and key in your serial number.
