It’s summer, and my criterion for selecting an eatery almost solely rests on whether or not they have outdoor seating. The Cubara Cafe is perfect not only in this regard, but also for the fact that that it’s a Cuban-themed bar that makes it unique for Korea. There’s a huge patio with an outdoor bar (and a covered area where you can sit if it’s raining), all in front of a beautiful Cuban-style house.

I came for drinks, so haven’t tried their food, but it all looks good. They have tons of summery drinks. They’re all cheap, and all are relatively small, but they get the job done. There are also pitchers of sangria and mojitos on offer, so that rocks.

They also have Cuban cigars! I’m not a cigar guy. But if I was, I’d be all over ‘em. See the picture for their cigar list.

Directions: Kyungsung metro exit 5. Walk one block and turn RIGHT (before the Outback). Go down 2 blocks and turn RIGHT. The Cubara Cafe is on the right, just before the Ssaeng Tong Hof.
