Job Description

ArjoHuntleigh has operated in Korea for some years through distributors, with only a limited part of their product range on offer. As part of a renewed strategic focus on the Korean market, ArjoHuntleigh is establishing a sales company to provide sales, marketing and technical support, with the commitment to building a significant business over the next few years. To lead this investment and growth, they are looking to appoint a Country Manager as their first employee in Korea.

Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Establishing a Sales Company in Korea
  • Recruitment and broadening of the distributor network
  • Ongoing distributor management and support
  • Recruitment and management of a sales, marketing and service team
  • Assisting distributors to resolve any customer / end-user issues
  • Liaising with key accounts
  • Supporting marketing and promotional activities
  • Maintaining and expanding collaboration and partnerships with clients, agents and turnkey contractors
  • Analysing market performance, including new developments and competitive intelligence

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements:

  • 5+ years sales, marketing and distributor management experience
  • Industry experience from medical, pharmaceutical, or related healthcare field preferred
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining a broad distribution network
  • International experience (either study or work), or worked for a multinational company
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Results orientated individual with the ability to work independently and with limited direction
  • Can make tough/difficult decisions and has proven to ‘get things done’
  • Mature and highly motivated; outgoing and curious personality
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Korean
