Well unfortunately (for sporting purposes), 3 of the 4 matches are pretty much in the bag as a result of big wins from the first round for Barcelona (5-1 over Shakhtar), Madrid (4-0 over Tottenham) and Schalke (5-2 over Inter). The most exciting tie that’s still up for grabs is Chelsea vs Manchester United. Man U won the first round 1-0 at Chelsea, so a 1-0 Chelsea victory will send them to penalties; a Chelsea victory where they score more than 2 goals sends them through; but a draw or better sees Man U go through.

The second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals start up this WEDNESDAY MORNING (Korea time). If you want to watch, they WILL be on Korean television – on MBC Sports. On my TV, it’s channel 67. Yours might be different. All the sports channels on mine are around the 60s.

The schedule of events for this week (April 12 – 13) on MBC is as follows:
EARLY MORNING WEDNESDAY APRIL 13th (games in Europe are Tues April 12th)
3:45 (live!) – Manchester United vs Chelsea
5:45 (taped replay) – Shakhtar vs Barcelona
9:00 (taped replay) – Man U vs Chelsea
