^^DIRECT HIRE - Busan/Seomyeon^^ Full-Time ESL Teacher + Part-time (Phonics)

Hi,

I’m looking to hire a full-time and a part-time teacher for my academy in Jeonpo. We have two locations, the first branch in Buam and the recently opened second branch in Jeonpo. We have plans to open a third branch in Haeundae by the end of the year. If you want to develop a career with us, we would love for you to join our growing team!

We have a set curriculum and a great support staff. Each classroom is fitted with a smart board.

(1) Full-time ESL Teacher

Qualifications:

Native English speaker with the required documents on hand for registration with the educational office. Visa sponsorship (E2) is available for those that are eligible. We also welcome F visa holders. 

Working conditions:

The work schedule is M-F 200pm-830pm. Class sizes are no more than eight students per class. We try to keep it at 6, but will only push it to a max 8 if the student(s) is an appropriate fit after consulting with the teacher.

Student body:

Nearly all of our students come from Namsung, Dongsung, Sahmyook, and Hyewha Elementary School and 1-6th grade. 

Salary + Benefits:

monthly salary starts from 2,500,000 ~ 3,000,000.

Insurance can be covered.

Location:

Jeonpo branch - It’s a short five minute walk from Jeonpo station with lots of buses that drop you off nearby or directly in front of the building. It’s also a short walk from Shake Shack. 

(2) Part-time Phonics Teacher (Jeonpo branch)

The class schedule would be from M-F 230pm-430pm.

Looking for an energetic part-time teacher who enjoys teaching phonics and young learners (1-2 grade). We are trying to open more classes due to high demand. The hourly rate will be 30,000+. 

I started 1173 Leeds along with two other teachers, with the first location in Buam Station, so we are all experienced educators and expats. No one will be limited creatively and therefore, no micromanagement. We just give you the end goal and you have the creative freedom on how to implement the class.
