The 176th Monthly Event of Window to Korean Culture [Making Lotus Lanterns]

We would like to invite you to our monthly event.

We want to spread Korean culture to foreigners. This month we will make lotus lanterns. Lotus is a symbol of purity which is not tainted even blooming in the muddy water. Therefore we celebrate Buddha's birthday (falling on the eighth of April in lunar calendar) holding the festival with lotus lanterns. You can enjoy making the beautiful lotus lantern of your own and take it home.
