Main Stage;
The main stage will play host to Bard, Sweet Murphy's Fancy, Olivia Houck, Donna Cullen, Tap Pung and many acts who will play both modern and traditional Irish music and dancing. Get your dancing shoes on for the audience participation dancing which is always a bit of craic!
Irish Village;
If the excitement of the main stage becomes too much, head over to the Irish Village. Listen to Irish traditional music and try your hand at playing some instruments. Are you a musician? Bring along your instrument and join in!
Always wanted to try Irish Dancing? Olivia and Donna will be in the Irish Village showing some basic Irish Dancing steps. Both adults and children can join in and learn these easy steps.
Children can also enjoy storytelling with Fiona, face painting, and balloons will also be on offer. Food can also be found in the Irish Village.
Costume Competition;
There are great prizes up for grabs in our costume competition. The more Irish the costume the better. The competition is free to enter and our judges will be adjudicating throughout the day. Winners will be announced at 4pm.
Raffle;
This year we have a raffle which we are running in partnership with the Seoul Gaels. The top prize is a pair of flights to Dublin, thanks to sponsors Etihad Airways. There are also hotel stays, meal and shopping vouchers up for grabs. Tickets can be bought at a variety of locations or from our roving ticket sellers. 5,000 w for 1 ticket or 3 tickets for 10,000 w.
Festival T-Shirts will be available throughout the festival for 10,000w
Hooley
After the main event, head to Bull & Barrel Itaewon from 7pm to 1am for the official IAK Hooley. Tickets are 10,000w available at the door. Entertainment includes Sweet Murphys Fancy, Dara Sheahan, traditional music and other great acts!
