Poko Lambro is an acoustic duo (originals and covers) from Lubbock, TX. Poko Lambro has been performing regularly over the past year in and out of their home state of Texas. They have been cutting their teeth as performers in a variety of venues ranging from lounges, country clubs, ‘bar and grill’ type atmospheres, upscale wine bars and private events to saloons, cantinas, college hangouts and coffee houses, all to great crowd response. With their vocal harmonies, fast guitar pickin’, and bluesy stride piano, they can hold the attention of the loudest bar crowds and impress the most critical songwriter’s circles. Their 4 hour plus range of repertoire is just as head turning as their performance. Johnny and June Carter Cash’s Jackson, Ghost Riders in the Sky, and the medley Will the Circle Be Unbroken/I’ll Fly Away are staples in their live set that show the couple’s Texas roots and always bring down the house.
