About the exhibition:
Each painting in this 17-piece series represents a country where I have traveled. Using acrylics, pastels, and charcoal, I have recreated my experiences of these countries in abstract form. The paintings depict my observation of or emotional reaction to each country's culture, history, or scenery. The many layers of colors symbolize the complexity of these countries as well as that of my experiences.

Directions: 
Get off at Kyungsung University, stop 212, and u-turn out of exit 5. Continue walking straight (Pukyong University should be across the street on your left), and turn right at the third street. The Painted Chair is located on the right side of the street about a block in, and has a large yellow sign. The gallery is on the third floor.
