Celebrating the Korean largest holiday, Chuseok, JungDong Theater will host a global Chuseok festival for tourists, expats and locals. From Thursday, September 27th to Saturday, September 29th, visitors to the theater can participate in various activities like Korean, Chinese and Japanese traditional culture experiences and Jang-Gu (Korean traditional instrument) classes.

On the first day of the festival, Korean and Chinese Culture experience will offer you a chance to try Chinese traditional customs, face-painting drawn by Beijing opera actors and enjoy tasty WallBeong, a Korean traditional snack. The theme of the second day is Japanese and Korean culture experience, with kimono, Japanese traditional customs and a Wishing Tree on-site.

During the festival period, events such as trying on Hanbok, making Jae-Gi, and playing Korean folk games will be held all day.

The Jang-gu class is limited to 50 spaces. To participate, please make a reservation at Chongdong Theater via phone (02-751-1500).
