The people in the Tuesday market in Silvia were so sweet to us, chatting away and putting sombreros on us :) I love the woman's laugh and how she spoke to her baby birds. We ended up buying 4 small bags of coffee for 50 cents each (2,000 pesos).
If you visit Popayan, do not miss the Tuesday market in Silvia. It's a 2 hour bus ride from Popayan, and it costs 12,000 pesos for the bus (around $6).
