Have you had hoddeuk? It's kind of the best.
I actually met a Korean woman the other day who said hoddeuk is her favourite Korean food. Usually people say kimchi, or kimchi jjigae, but she just flat out loves the sweet stuff.
Hoddeuk is a pancake stuffed with syrup and deep fried. Probably not suitable for daily breakfast, but definitely a wonderful once in a while treat. And they're only 500 won here in Cheong-Ju!!
You should make the journey to Cheong-Ju if you want the best hoddeuk of your life.
