My good friend 선현우 recently posted a video on YouTube, asking the question, "Why aren't there more videos in Korean by Korean Vloggers on YouTube?"
It's an interesting question and I think it boils down to two reasons:
1) Korean culture is not that wide spread in the world, thus most westerners grow up with Japanese influences and spend their time learning Japanese and yearning for Japan.
2) The Real Name Verification Law makes the YouTube Community less cohesive because of the limitations places on uploading and commenting on videos.
