The Consulting workforce is made up of three groups: Management Consulting, Systems Integration Consulting and Technology Consulting. This consulting group structure provides outstanding opportunities to develop highly specialized skills that will help you advance your career.

Systems Integration Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that marry processes with technology to help our clients achieve high performance.

Industry Applications professionals design, implement and deploy packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate unique industry business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs.

TA Consultant professionals analyze, design, build, test and deploy innovative Communications and High Tech industry-specific solutions that enable industry standards and processes.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Supervising process and functional design activities
  • Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
  • Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
  • Supervising application build, test, and deploy activities
  • Planning and executing data conversion activities (e.g., test data)
  • Driving test planning and execution

Tech Arch SME

  • Development / Test / Execution architecture sizing & design
  • Data center network architecture & design (load balancing, IP addressing, routing, switching, firewalls)
  • Operations architecture design (monitoring, back up / restore, capacity management, disaster recovery)
  • Data center implementation (vendor management)
  • Design for Virtualization architectures
  • Design for Service oriented architecture
  • Design for Batch architectures
  • Weblogic administrator
  • Weblogic administration (start, stop, install, configure, troubleshoot, error log analysis, deployments)
  • Weblogic / JVM performance tuning (garbage collection, heap size)
  • Solution administrator
  • Siebel/Billing/OSM/Inventory/ASAP administration (start, stop, install, configure, troubleshoot, error log analysis, deployments)
  • Performance tuning (reviewing DB performance, identifying source of poor codes, app tier tuning like max / min tasks)

Performance test SME

  • Creating / troubleshooting scripts, setting up and running scenarios with Loadrunner for Siebel
  • Database Administrator
  • PL / SQL and Database performance tuning (explain plans, indexes, OS and kernel settings)
  • VDB build, support, monitoring and management
