Highlights From Last Weekend’s Holi Fest and This Weekend’s Trick Eye Museum!

I found some forgotten photos from last weekend’s Holi Fest, which is an Indian celebration to welcome spring. Everyone throws powdered color or paint at each other and dances and it’s really fun. I’m definitely ready for spring now. Phew! Here are some photo highlights:

All the people at Holi, and can you see the onlookers with cameras in the back? We were superstars.

So that was Holi, this weekend was also ripe for picture taking as we visited the Trick Eye Museum, a museum that was all sets for you to take pictures in. The sets and poses to take were pretty much endless, rooms and rooms and rooms. It was actually pretty exhausting haha. It was a rainy day though, so we had plenty of time to mosey through and laugh at ourselves. Here are some of the trickier ones, hard to tell if I’m real or a part of the pictures, right? Right?! Ok maybe not.

After the museum, it was still pouring, so we headed to Shinsegae, the world’s largest department store. It was buzzing with people, which was a little overwhelming, but I found and bought the cutest pillow! It has dancing rabbits, so the search through the crowds was worth it.
