Gianna Jun’s ‘Vogue’ Spread

Gianna Jun—better known as actress Jun Ji-Hyun from the popular Korean movie My Sassy Girl— is featured in July’s issue of American Vogue.

Shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, the spread features Jun with Chinese actress Li Bing Bing—her co-star in next month’s Snow Flowers and the Secret Fan.

Jun, who made her Hollywood debut in 2009′s Blood: The Last Vampire, started filming the movie adaptation of Lisa See’s bestselling novel Snow Flowers and the Secret Fan earlier this year.

Directed by Wayne Wang (Maid in Manhattan), the film is set in 19th century China, and it follows the story of two women, Snow Flower (Jun) and Lily (Li) who “form a long lasting relationship—first as BFFs, then as dedicated frenemies.”

The film is set to hit theaters on July 15th.

Jun is notably the first Korean actor to be featured in American Vogue.
