Exploring Jeonju City

We went to Jeonju City this morning for our first ever family trip. My brother-in-law was the one driving the car and it took us more than 2 hours before we got there. It was a pretty long drive. We were so tired and hungry so we decided to eat lunch at this Korean restaurant which is very famous for their Bibimbap. Outside the restaurant, there were people waiting in line because the restaurant was full of hungry customers and it wasn’t spacious enough. We waited for 30 minutes before we got our own table and seats. My brother-in-law ordered 2 bowls of Bibimbap and 1 bowl of Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup). I wasn’t really impressed with their famous Bibimbap. I think their Samgyetang tastes delicious. After we had our lunch, we headed straight to this famous tourist spot in the city which is called “Jeonju Hanok Village”. The place was jam-packed with people who were busy taking pictures, buying and eating yummy foods. I saw some people wearing hanbok (Korean traditional clothes). I took some pictures and we also bought some foods. We roamed around for 1 hour before we decided to go home. There were not enough activities to enjoy. My son is only 2 years old and he easily gets tired of walking. I think we’ll just go to theme parks next time so that my son can also have fun and enjoy some kiddie rides.
