Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Cloud Product Manager (PM) is the owner of subsidiary Server BG’s overall Cloud strategy, both public and private. The PM is required to have a strong understanding of both global and local Cloud trends, competitive insight, and related customer/partner demand as well as technical understanding of existing offerings. The PM is the campaign leader of the Cloud including “above the line” and “below the line” of the messaging and marketing strategy. In addition, the PM acts as the spokesperson on Microsoft’s Cloud on such activities as media interviews, SNS blogs, conference sessions, and community efforts.

The PM understands, orchestrates, and influences Cloud campaigns and marketing activities, leveraging multiple communication vehicles (including online, social media, events, influencer engagement, segment programs, etc) and channels. An essential responsibility associated with the role of PM is to align the content, timing and delivery of marketing messages and outreach to Microsoft’s customers and partners. The PM must develop strong partnerships with the segments, as well as customer and partner segment stakeholders to lead and execute fiscal year local priorities.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • 7+ years of practical experience in product, segment, audience or relationship marketing. (enterprise IT marketing experience is preferred)
  • Advanced understanding of the customer, technology products and market trends
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and be able to work independently
  • Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Advanced conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, planning and organizational abilities
  • Self-motivated, directed person; ability to build strong, lasting business relationships
