With Cat: The Cat Cafe

Welcome to the Cat Cafe, just one way to make any day a little cuter.

Now I’ve been to a Cat Cafe once before, quite awhile ago and they’re pretty popular both in Korea and in Japan. I really should go more often, and there is one right by my school.  It’s a great place for people to go get some coffee and hang out with cats- which is nice when you miss your own cat at home. Pet ownership is much more popular in the States than it is in Korea, so little niche cafes like this instead.  Plus I doubt cats in the kitchen would be allowed in the US.

Either way, it’s really freaking cute. Even the Kitty art is cute.

I felt so bad for this guy, he looks so uncomfortable.  But I have a soft spot for him because his name is “Momo” which is one of the many nicknames for my cat at home, Cosmo.

Now while Momo shares a name with my kitty, this grey guy could be Cosmo’s Korean cousin.

At “With Cat” there are some fat cats too.  The one on the right is called “Banana” which makes me chuckle.

As you enjoy some coffee or tea there are toys to engage the cats in play, but sometimes all they want is your chair cushion.

And just in case things weren’t’ cute enough, Anne’s strawberry tea came in a strawberry teapot.

If you ever want to stop by, you can do some research before you meet your new best friends.

The cats will be waiting for you.

Although some aren’t that excited about it.

P.S. I didn’t want Cosmo to feel left out, so here’s a picture of my kitty way out in Indiana.
