The succesful applicant will be responsible for achieving a set revenue target for new and renewal sales from all market sectors and relevant product groups within territory.

Responsibilities/Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • To manage specific territories – consortial activity and key accounts within the region.
  • To develop existing business relationships and new business opportunities – a high growth level is required for success.
  • To make regular face to face and telephone contact with existing and potential customers
  • To demonstrate company products to existing and potential customers
  • To attend conferences, exhibitions, seminars and open days within the region
  • To plan and implement campaigns within the region as part of the Company marketing plan
  • Keeping up to date with all developments in the target region and industry.
  • To report the essential localized features needed for all products

Desired Skills & Experience

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who has:

  • Proven technology/software sales experience at middle level, with at least 5 years’ sales experience.
  • Ambitious, determined to succeed, positive, tenacious.
  • Target oriented, with the ability to achieve high target.
  • Ability to work under pressure, and achieve tight deadlines
  • Professional and articulate manner.
  • Good English skills – verbal and written
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning/organizational and presentation skills – professional and articulate.
  • Knowledge of the electronic databases.
  • Knowledge of search, linking and resource management products for libraries
  • Ability to travel plus ability to work remotely and independently.
