About the English Service

We are beginning our English worship service at 10 AM starting February 5, 2012. It aims to attract expatriates living in Busan from not only English speaking countries but also countries with a population of less than 10% Christians. We envision giving "births" to additional ministries focusing on China, Mongolia and Russia. We are praying for the reunification of North Korea and give support and aid to newly arrived North Koreans living in the south. We are seeing many people from diverse cultural perspectives come together through the ministry better equipped for the calling of our Lord Jesus Christ. We meet on the 5th floor on Sundays.

We usually have small groups meeting after the worship service to discuss the bible in greater depth and develop relationships within community groups.  We also have two English bible studies running on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons. There are also children' classes taught in English. There are many opportunities to worship and meet other Christians during the week. Quiet Time and Public Prayers for North Korea at Busan Station are currently in the works.

Ways to reach Onnuri Church

Onnuri Church is located in Jangsan. The easiest way to get to English service is to take the subway to Jangsan station. Take exit 10 and keep going straight for 250 meters. Going past the Haeundae Cultural Center, you will cross one crosswalk before turning right at the next intersection (there is a sign of Onnuri church hanging above). The church is located twenty meters on your right.

If you are taking the bus, the number 38, 1001, 1003 are some options.You have to get off Jangsan Station and follow the instruction above.
