Gamjatang is a spicy soup consisting of potatoes, pork on the bone and assorted vegetables. It is usually served in a large, family-style portion. Its cousin, Haejangguk ("hangover soup") removes the potatoes and is served in individual portions.

통묵은지감자탕 Tong Mukeunji Gamjatang is a 24-hour Gamjatang/Haejangguk restaurant located near Top Mart and Cafe Tirol, about a 15-minute walk from the King Suro lightrail station in Gimhae.

In addition to the usual banchan, this location also includes a bowl of mixed cold veggies with your rice, for a simple bibimbap to enjoy before your main dish is served. Prices for haejang guk are 6,500-7,000, with other family style meal portions priced higher.

There is a large main dining area, as well as private dining rooms. A small play area also is available for children.
