Aptive is currently seeking seasoned tutors with experience teaching subjects ranging from SAT, ACT, SSAT, and general K-12 curriculums not limited to English, Math, and the Sciences. Tutors that are not based in Seoul will be working remotely to tutor students based throughout Asia and abroad.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Teach students one-on-one with an age range of 6 to 18
  • Create Educational Roadmaps
  • Collaborate with the Academic Directors to develop best outcomes for students
  • Help improve and maintain quality of existing resources
  • Develop educational content to be utilized through our technology

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum 4-year Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 2+ years proven teaching/tutoring in your expertise subject(s)
  • Track record of leading students to high marks
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Zoom, etc.) & ability to learn new tools
  • Ability to take ownership and accountability of your student(s)
  • Ability to complete work and tasks according to set timelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • A love for the ability to problem-solve
  • Native English speaker (although outstanding candidates without this qualification will be considered)
  • Graduates of top-tier universities have a distinct advantage
  • Teaching Certifications will be have a higher priority in the interview process
  • Candidates able to relocate to Seoul have the highest priority

Compensation Package

  • 2.8 – 3.2 million KRW per month
  • We also have available part-time positions for more flexibility
  • Teaching compensation is directly deposited on a monthly basis
