2022 Soongsil University Winter English Camp Teacher Wanted
1. Location: Soongsil University, Seoul
2. Position Available: Around 10 (Visa Type: F2, F4, F5, F6, E1, E2, C4)

※ Teachers who arrived from abroad within 2 weeks before the opening of the camp are unavailable to apply.
3. Working Conditions
□ A Type: 4 weeks
a. Schedule
⦁ Training Session: 2 days (December 22nd ~ December 23rd) * Mandatory
⦁ Camp: 20 days (December 26th, 2022 ~ January 20th, 2023)
b. Working Hours: 09:00 am - 05:00 pm (Mon. - Fri.)
c. Remuneration: Around KRW 3,650,000 (₩ 3,650,000)
※ Remuneration mentioned above includes the participation fee for one level test, so participating in one of the level tests is mandatory. (*You can choose which date you would like to participate in after checking the level test schedule below.)
d. Responsibility
⦁ Conduct classes (*Academic + Activity)
⦁ Make Lesson Plan and Syllabus
⦁ Make Achievement Test Sheet
⦁ Write Evaluation Reports

□ B Type: 2 weeks
a. Schedule

⦁ Camp: 10 days (January 9th, 2023 – January 20th, 2023)
b. Working Hours: 09:00 am - 03:00 pm (Mon. - Fri.)
c. Remuneration: Around KRW 1,700,000 (₩ 1,700,000)

4. Participants
a. Elementary Students
b. Class size: Around 15 students
5. Qualification
a. A valid passport from one of the following native English-speaking countries; USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia and South Africa
b. A minimum of a Bachelor degree from an accredited four-year university
c. Teaching experiences more than a year
d. Give preference to
⦁ Teaching experiences more than 3 years in regular schools or institutes
⦁ Major in English or Education
⦁ Master’s or higher degree in an English-related field
⦁ Certifications (ex. TESOL, TEFL etc.)
e. All classes are available only in English.
6. Required documents
a. Resume (* your recent picture must be attached)
* Your resume needs to include your nationality, contact information, education/employment history.
b. Cover letter
c. Scanned copy of your passport information page
d. Scanned copy of Alien Registration Card (both front & back side)
e. Copy of bank book, Certificate of last degree (Only for selected applicants)
7. The process
a. Submit required documents via email only

※ The class schedules of the 2 weeks camp and the 4 weeks camp clash, so you can only participate in one of the camp programs.
b. Applicants selected for interview and teaching demonstration will be notified in due time
※ Interviews will be held through Zoom

10. Information about C-4 VISA holders
* For C-4 visa holders who is already residing in Korea *
⦁ Must check the period of stay mentioned on one’s visa and if needed, must go out of Korea to apply for another C-4 and re-enter Korea. In this case, one need to enter Korea by December 10th(Sat.)
* For C-4 visa holders who is currently residing abroad *
⦁ Must check with the Korean Consulate in one’s home country, on how much time it would take to apply for and receive the C-4 visa.
⦁ Must prepare the required documents for applying for the C-4 visa in time, and also need to be able to enter Korea by December 10th(Sat.)
