3. Working Conditions

□ A Type: 4 weeks

a. Schedule

 ⦁ Training Session: 2 days (July 20th – July 21st)

 ⦁ Camp: 20 days (July 25th ~ August 20th)*

 * August 15th(Mon.): Holiday / No class

 * August 20th(Sat.): Completion ceremony

b. Working Hours: 09:00 am - 05:00 pm (Mon. - Fri.)

 c. Remuneration: Around KRW 3,800,000 (₩ 3,800,000)

※ Remuneration mentioned above includes the participation fee for one level test, so participating in one of the level tests is mandatory. (*You can choose which level test you would like to participate after checking the level test schedule below.)

※※ Since our camp is reopening after being canceled for 2 years due to COVID-19, we are especially offering a bonus payment(around KRW 250,000 for 4 weeks camp) ONLY FOR THIS SUMMER CAMP. And the bonus is also included in the remuneration mentioned above.

 

□ B Type: 2 weeks (APPLICATION CLOSED!)

a. Schedule

⦁ Training Session: 2 days (July 20th – July 21st)

⦁ Camp: 10 days (August 1st – August 12th)

b. Working Hours: 09:00 am - 03:00 pm (Mon. - Fri.)

c. Remuneration: Around KRW 1,750,000 (₩ 1,750,000)

※ Remuneration mentioned above includes the participation fee for one level test, so participating in one of the level tests is mandatory. (*You can choose which level test you would like to participate after checking the level test schedule below.)

※※ Since our camp is reopening after being canceled for 2 years due to COVID-19, we are especially offering a bonus payment(around KRW 200,000 for 2 weeks camp) ONLY FOR THIS SUMMER CAMP. And the bonus is also included in the remuneration mentioned above.

 

■ Level Test Schedule ■ □ Option Ⅰ. ⦁ Date: July 2nd (Sat.) ⦁ Time: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm ⦁ Pay: KRW 150,000 (₩ 150,000)   □ Option Ⅱ. ⦁ Date: July 9th (Sat.) ⦁ Time: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm ⦁ Pay: KRW 150,000 (₩ 150,000) * The schedule is subject to change. * You can participate in the level tests multiple times.

 

4. Participants

a. Elementary Students

b. Class size: Around 15 students

 

5. Qualification

a. A valid passport from one of the following native English-speaking countries; USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia, and South Africa

b. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university

c. Teaching experiences more than a year

d. Give preference to

⦁ Teaching experiences more than 3 years in regular schools or institutes

⦁ Major in English or Education

⦁ Master’s or higher degree in an English-related field

⦁ Certifications (ex. TESOL, TEFL, etc.)

 e. All classes are available only in English.

  

6. Required documents

a. Resume (* your recent picture must be attached)

* Your resume needs to include your nationality, contact information, and education/employment history.

c. Scanned copy of your passport information page

d. Scanned copy of Alien Registration Card (both front & back side)

e. bank book, diploma of your last school (Only for selected applicants)

 

7. The process

a. Submit required documents via email only.

⦁ Please indicate which camp you would like to join and also which level tests you are available to participate in as well.

※ The class schedules of the 2 weeks camp and the 4 weeks camp clash, so you can only participate in one of the camp programs.

 

b. Applicants selected for interview and teaching demonstration will be notified in due time.

※ Interviews will be held through Zoom.

10. Information about C-4 VISA holders

* For C-4 visa holders who are already residing in Korea *

⦁ Must check the period of stay mentioned on one’s visa and if needed, must go out of Korea to apply for another C-4 and re-enter Korea. In this case, one needs to enter Korea by July 9th(Sat.)

 

* For C-4 visa holders who are currently residing abroad *

⦁ Must check with the Korean Consulate in one’s home country, on how much time it would take to apply for and receive the C-4 visa.

⦁ Must prepare the required documents for applying for the C-4 visa in time, and also need to be able to enter Korea by July 9th(Sat.)

 

** About Accommodation **

⦁ We can provide the school dormitory if needed, but teachers who need support must first check with the human resource office about the availability. When using the school dormitory, there will be a room fee that the teachers need to pay. Also, the check-in date will be July 20th(Wed.), so one needs to find a place to stay in Seoul before the check-in date.
