Band Bios

THE ROCKTIGERS play one and only one kind of music: rock 'n' roll. They offer a trend-kill to all that's wrong with the Korean music industry. Spicing up the classic rockabilly sound, the RockTigers are giving you rockabilly that's vintage and modern from Seoul: Kimchibilly. You haven't tasted Seoul until you've had a taste of Kimchibilly.

The RockTigers (더 락타이거즈, also written as The Rock Tigers, The Rocktigers) are a South Korean indie rock and roll band formed in 2001. The RockTigers are the pioneers of the rock and roll revival movement on the Korean indie band scene. The RockTigers show a style that is rooted in the 1940s and 1950s jump blues, boogie-woogie, and rockabilly that sets them apart from other Korean indie bands. Although not on the Korean mainstream, The RockTigers have developed a cult following with their energetic live shows around the Hongdae club scene as well as several rock festivals throughout Asia.

SEOUL CITY SUICIDES are a power trio to whom heavy beats, riding bass lines and banging riffs are best friends. This, combined with their highly energetic stage presence, ensures that every live show packs one unforgettable punch. Born in November 2009, the band kicked into reality with two storming shows at the Stompers Battle of the Bands. Where they impressively placed 2nd and started their following of devoted fans. With countless more shows, a solid and growing fan base and a three city 'Dash the South' Korean tour under their belts, SCS are about to release their first EP (coming in May!) and go on a second tour of the Korean peninsula. In not even a year, the Suicides have wowed audiences, made some great friends, and have expanded their set list, which pushes the boundaries of sound, texture and musical arrangement.
