For this year's V-DAY BUSAN, we won't be performing "The Vagina Monologues." Instead, there will be be a performance of "A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, and A Prayer" which consists of profound spoken word pieces performed by both men and women. 

A groundbreaking collection of monologues by world-renowned authors and playwrights, edited by Eve Ensler and Mollie Doyle. These diverse voices rise up in a collective roar to break open, expose, and examine the insidiousness of violence at all levels: brutality, neglect, a punch, even a put-down. 

MMRP will be performed at Monk Jazz Club by a talented cast of local women and men. Tickets will be sold at the door for a donation of 15,000 won. There is only one performance and a limited number of seats. Doors open at 6pm so get there early if you'd like to see the show. 

Ninety percent of the donations will go to Sae Gil Welfare Corporation/ Busan Women's Shelter , a local women's shelters here in Busan. The other ten percent will go to V-DAY's global spotlight campaign. We will have some great raffle prizes to give away, as well.

While some of the pieces are the same as last year, many are not. So, if you enjoyed the show last year, please come again!
