 Cynthia C. Sharpe, Consul General and Minister Counselor for Consular Affairs for the Embassy of the United States, Republic of Korea, will hold Town Hall meetings for American citizens living in the Busan and Daegu areas this month

Using questions submitted in advance, Consul General Sharpe will address various issues of importance to American citizens living in Korea. Topics may include U.S.-Korea relations, marriage, adoption, immigration, or crisis planning. Please submit your questions for Consul General Sharpe in advance to [email protected], indicating for which Town Hall event the question is directed and where in Korea you live.
 

Among Consul General Sharpe's responsibilities are service and assistance to American citizens throughout Korea and the administration of United States visa policy to all foreign nationals applying for immigration or temporary visits to the United States. Consul General Sharpe works closely with United States Forces Korea (USFK) to provide Department of State assistance and coordinates with USFK on all Embassy consular matters affecting U.S. military members and civilians stationed in the Republic of Korea.

The meeting in Busan will be held Thursday, January 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the International Conference Room, 12th floor, Busan City Hall.
