It's time for a fresh summertime breeze to pass through Open Mic.

Let's face it, we all know smoking makes Russ look cool, but the Open Mic audience has voted and the concensus is that zee smokers shall head outdoors for their coolness.

However, there are speakers outside so you need not worry about missing the show for a smoke.

At the last Open Mic the abundance of talent was amazing, but also, well, abundant.

This is not a bad thing at all...I am insanely excited about all of the new bands hitting the stage...but it does mean that from here on out if you have not pre-signed up for Open Mic and you show up on the evening wanting to hit the stage, you will still have the chance to do so, BUT, it will not be until all of the pre-signed up acts have performed.

Discussions are also underway to maybe try and record this Open Mic for a CD to be released in the future...Basically we are running two experiments this time out...smoke free, and performance recording...come on out to see if something explodes.
...if I've learnt anything from Mythbusters it's an experiment isn't awesome until something blows up.
