What is Rubber Soul? 
Organized in conjunction with World AIDS Day, December 3rd sees Little Travellers hold one of the biggest annual club nights of the year. Happening across six of the most popular clubs in Hongdae: Club FF, Club TA, Gogos2, Freebird, DGBD and Hodge Podge, Little Travellers aims to once again help you rock the night away. 

This is currently our 4th year in Seoul! As well Rubber Soul has seen events held in Canada, USA, and Australia!

What are Little Travellers?
For those of you who don’t know, a ‘Little Traveller’ is a beautiful beaded doll handcrafted by the women at the Hillcrest AIDS Center who are either infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. More than 100 beaders take part in the project -which means that more than 100 families are being supported just by making these dolls. So far, over 50,000 Little Travellers have been sold around the world, and the project has raised over $250,000 to support people battling HIV/AIDS in South Africa. 100% of the money raised through the sale of Little Travellers is used to support people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa.

Rubber Soul 2011는 12월 3일 토요일 홍대 5개의 클럽에서 진행될 예정이며, 에이즈에 대한 인식증진과 교육 및 남아프리카에서 에이즈를 안고 살아가는 여성들을 돕는 Little Travellers (www.littletravellers.net/korea)를 위한 기금마련이 목적입니다.

Rubber Soul에는 매년 많은 외국인들이 꾸준히 참여해왔으나, 이번 해에는 한국인들도 많이 참여하여, 한국내 에서도 에이즈에 대한 인식증진을 꾀하고자 합니다.

Rubber Soul에 대해 처음 들어보셨다면, 이 행사는 2007년부터 4년째 진행되어왔으며, 2010년도에는 국제적인 행사로 확장되었습니다. 미국과 캐나다에서도 Rubber Soul이 개최된 바 있으며, Rubber Soul이 연간행사로 자리를 잡기를 기대하고 있습니다.

Rubber Soul 티켓은 10,000원에 구입이 가능하며, 구입하시는 분들에게는, 남아프리카의 여성들이 직접 만든 Little Traveller doll과 5개의 클럽에 입장할 수 있는 권한이 제공됩니다.
