My wife and I are getting ready to visit her mom in Seoul, close to Eunpyeong-gu. Her mom's place is to small for us to stay there, so we are looking for a hotel or apartment to stay while we are there. We have been looking, but are having trouble finding a place in our price range (about $2k US) for 15 days. Does anyone have any tips or ideas how to find a good place? As long as we are by a subway that heads up to the loop line we should be ok.
Thanks
Re: Where should I stay in Seoul, visiting for 3 weeks.
I am sure that a few people might suggest love motels. But, although they are stunningly equipped, I wouldn't recommend them for a long stay.
When my parents came they stayed once at this place. Which is very centrally located, but a relatively quiet neighbourhood.

I remember it being about a 100 a night, but we definitely got a discount because we stayed for several nights, bringing it down to below 90. That as about 5 years ago though.
The next time they stayed they stayed in one of the Ibis hotels, which they were very happy with. No idea how much it cost though.
I also know there are plenty of serviced apartments, but again can't help on the price, but think they might be a bit pricier. A google search 'serviced apartments seoul' brings up a whole list of them.
